Last year, I bought these boots:

I loved them. I wore them everywhere. Unfortunatel,y I could never completely buckle them. My calves were too large. I have always had large muscular calves so it never really bothered me.

Today I threw them on for the first time since I committed myself to lose weight. They buckled. There is space in between my leg and the boot.

Woohooo. It's incredible what a difference ten pounds makes. Next stop another ten and who knows then.

Awe! That's so great.. . I'm super jealous. I can't find a single pair, even the nice Clarks with elastic panels and buckles... LOL!

I brought my first pair of knee boots this year, was so excited. I've always felt too fat for boots, my legs especially. It doesn't make sense, but that how I felt. Finally, after 40 lbs lost, I thought it would be nice to have some boots. So, I tried some on, fell in love with one pair, and brought them. I love them, they make me feel skinnier, if you know what I mean. It was great, I'm there with you!!

That is a great NSV. I think it is a common problem. I bought my first boots since Junior High last Friday. I was so excited! Hooray for skinnier calves!

Becky - you should look at madden girl, I have tons of their boots and not only are they moderately priced but they usually have an extra large shaft (insert that's what she said joke)

thanks everyone! I was super excited and now i am extra motivated to work out!

Perhaps you should set other "I'm going to wear this" goals. You know a dress or nice top and set up a prescribed time to make it. Don't get discouraged if you don't make it. Stick with and make other things fit! Great job! Go killer!
