So I'm looking for some advice on exercises that targets hips. I seem to be losing weight everywhere except my massive hips. Are there any specific exercises that can help? or will they just slowly disappear as I continue losing weight?

Doing exercises that targets hips isn't going to make you lose fat from your hips

You cannot spot reduce. Just keep lowering your body fat and the weight will come off when it is good and ready.

Sorry. I know that isn't what you want to hear.

*sigh* :ohwell: I didn't think so...

but they will workout the muscles in your hips, which will tone them and help reduce the appearance of so much fat. i have the same problem. you probably have saddlebags like i do. i carry a lot of my weight in my hips, butt, and thighs. when i was back in high school i started doing a lot of jumping jacks, and i don't know if it was coincidence or not, but my hips did slim down during that period.

There's no such thing as toning.

A focus on the hips, if anything, would lead to muscle hypertrophy, causing the hips to appear larger, rather than smaller.

Thanks for the advice guys. I kinda figured it wouldn't work that way...so I'll continue what I'm doing now and hope to see some results.
