And wow, so it's easy at first, then it starts to really get your heart going......I did 12 mins the first go around, and then I did 10 mins the second go round....found the entire how to guide on You Tube, so targeting certain muscle groups and so on.......I actually burned 307 cals! 100 more then a 20 min dance and easier on my body. I tried the outer thigh/inner thigh/glute excercise on it and could only do 1 minute.....my thighs and *kitten* were on fire! This thing is gonna be super fun...got up to a jog for all of 45 seconds, but the remainder of the other time was spent speed walking......but my feet are numb, which I remember when I used to go to the gym would happen on the treadmill and bike......I am taking a 5 min break then I am gonna do the *kitten* one again.........so far so good.....$30! I think I did alright.

Gonna have an *kitten* like a Gazelle......:noway:

HAHAHAHA, it actually is a workout equipment that is a non impact elliptical kinda thing, it is usually over $200, but I got it online on Craigslist for $30. You can see it on Youtube. Type in Tony Little Gazelle.....he is the crazy short guy with the long ponytail and the hat. There are some joke movies in there, ignore those. There are several models of the Gazelle, I got the Elite....folds up and stores....I think I may be in love with a Gazelle.....:noway::ohwell: :frown:

The gazelle is close in movements to the elliptical machine. I read here to lift your heals when 'stepping'. I did this on Mr Ellip and voila, my feet are not numb!

and good for you on your new gazelle :flowerforyou:

    Excellent
  • Great! Now I have the Gazelle got it for 55 dollars from a for sale ad on Kijiji. Best investment I think I ever made. Now I have some tips to keeping on it. FIRST AND FOREMOST.. go to the hardware store and get yourself a big can of WD40 ( cooking spray works too) why you ask? After a few workouts you will notice a squeek. Trick to finding that squeek is where the top and bottom bolts connect to that plastic rope like thing. Another area to get a quick shot is where the two joints are at the top ( area that folds flat) I normaly spray mine down after I use it and put it away as the smell .
Second winamp is your friend,,, if you dont have it download it and install. Winamp is full of Dance or electronic radio stations that set a nice tempo and are free ,, for your workout ( I dont like picking myown keeps your workout interesting)
Do you have links to the YOUTUBE stuff you found ? I am interested in how they say to use this machine.
Last tip if your feet get sore just push forward on the handle grips alter your foot positions do a few reps like that and they lean back the other way.
