I've probably gained and lost a whole family over the years. This time I have a small adult female's worth of weight to lose. And hopefully not gain back. The only nice thing about that is, when I work out, I really can burn some calories, I'm going to miss that a few months from now when I'm struggling just to burn off a 100. But not too much!
  • I like Carrie Fisher's quote. I lost a supermodel!! LOL.

there was a post on here somewhere- that I stumbled on - that shows this sort of thing- a bag of sugar is five pounds, etc- to give a real visual to the pounds lost- bc I think it helps. When you think about 5 pounds, it may not seem like alot- but when you think about a five pound bag of sugar no longer carried around your frame- its major...

I have to find that post- bc it was great- it was so interesting- I think a ten year old weight 75-80 pounds...

I've lost 76 lbs, and I've made this comparison before.. my son is about to be 7 and weighs 44 lbs, I've lost like..him and a half! I jokingly make the reference that I'm working this extra b**ch off me.. ;-) Not room for 2, just for 1!!!!! Awesome job.

That explains why I'm even more scatter brained than usual. Maybe I lost my own!

LOVE this, I have not been on the right track for a few months now and have gained some weight back BUT since I have been on this jorney as of right now I have lost my daughter and a bag of sugar. I don't have all of that weight loss on here since I was not that heavey when I started this program. Naomi is 5 and 40lbs.

Since you can't "spot reduce" I won't be losing an elephant's penis, thank goodness.

However, I have lost half of my current weight. Evenly, from my entire body.

Hunh. Last time I saw that list I'd lost a bale of hay.

Now I've lost more than an air conditioning unit.

I'll be keeping the elephant's penis however.

I've lost a human skin. And my goal is to lose as much as an elephant penis. What a thought! And the men on here talking about keeping theirs is kind of funny, hehe.

OMG this is so funny. And yes according to this I have:

at my heaviest weighed less than an average adult man but more than the complete Oxford English Dictionary

    lost roughly an auto tire

still need to lose (at most) an average two-year-old (lol)

but I think I prefer to think of it as 25 guinea pigs, 5 Chihuahuas, or roughly 2 bald eagles...
