Hi all

Im a teacher (first year - yay!) and I wasn't sure what to set my activity level at. I do spend a good part of my day on my feet, and running around, back and forth the hallways... No stairs at my school though, its all on one level. Should I set it as lightly active?

I'd say lightly active. Congrats on finding a teaching job, by the way. I've been trying to get one for two years.

If you also exercise regularly, I would set it to moderate. I think that's the setting. That's what I do. I teach college level now and spend a lot more time at my desk than when I was in the elementary classroom but it's not anywhere close to a "desk job"

I'm a nurse that does teaching - and I set mine at light. Because we do it every day, our bodies are pretty used to it... so I'm not sure it should count as activity.

I'm a teacher and have set my activity level to lightly active. Like you, I don't get the chance to sit down for long!

I teach adults, but I still seem to move around a lot! I've also opted for lightly active.
