  • Yeah, I always thought it was better to have a little more protein, since it helps you rebuild your muscles. I'm proud of myself- yesterday I actually went over on my protein, and I've had trouble getting enough protein in the past!
  • My two downfalls here are Protein and Carbs,, but last few days good on the carbs,, but that sneaky protein!

Don't worry about going over on protein. In my opinion, MFP tends to go a little low on their protein allowance. I try to exercise more to "up my numbers", since I'm almost always over on my protein. I still steadily lost the weight that I wanted to in my first 8 months here, so as I already said, don't stess too much if you go over.
  • wow and you have lost 42 pounds that fills me with so much hope! I do the exact same thing when I go over on something , I excercise ,, that is motivation right there you want something extra to eat crunch in a workout .

YUP, 42 pounds! I'm STILL amazed that I did it! Believe me, I've tried just about every diet known to man, (and woman!) , and NOTHING worked until I came here. I watched my numbers, got some exercise, and TOTALLY changed my life!
I can't say enough good about MFP and all it's wonderfully supportive members!
Keep staying determined to lose the weight that you want to, and, YOU WILL!
