I have been using energy drinks to help me after work at the gym. They have 10 or 15 calories for 12 ounces but do you really think that they will help or hurt?????

I like the FRS energy chews for a little boost before a run, you're supposed to take two and that would be 40 calories, but I usually just have one!0

Depends on which one(s) you're drinking... some of them replace much-needed electrolytes after a hard workout, and others are just caffeine carriers. Water alone is great, but won't replace some of the things you lose after prolonged exercise.
Have you tried looking into protein drinks instead?0 -

Former Red Bull addict by the way. Full sugar too. It's basically one of the things that helped me gain at least 20 pounds because when I was drinking them all of the time, my eating habits weren't that different from they are now!0 -
Energy drinks are TERRIBLE for you! Have you considered a protein shake instead?0

Black coffee IF you need an energy boost. All the other crap in the energy drinks isn't worth it. Don't just look at the cals, look at the whole label.0

Glass of water/milk, scoop of whey protein. Stir/shake. Drink.0 -
Water is the best. The lot of energy drinks affect you heart rate, you don't want to mess around there. If you are extra tired, low cal sport drink.0
