Lunch Time

I find lunch the hardest meal of the day. I have already had breakfast and morning tea... but dinner is still looming overhead. I am too paranoid to eat lunch because I am afraid I won't have enough calories left for dinner.
I have my meals calorie allowances planned out so I don't go over, but I still worry "What if I'm still super hungry?" because I usually am. Should I just continue to skip lunch?
If not what are some meals to have for lunch? Most of the time I don't have left over chicken ect to make a sandwich and I know sodium high package meals (like frozen meals/noodles) are really bad idea to get in the habit of eating.

Are you eating the 6 meals we talked about?
Untill you get that metabolism revved you should shoot for 5-6 meals.
Complex carbs with high protein.
If you feel hungry after eating at this meal frequency then its probably emotional hunger!

I try for 3 meals 2 snacks. Usually ends up being 2 meals 3 snacks. I just don't know what to eat! It's driving me crazy!0

Can you bring salads to work, with fruit and nuts mixed in? You can eat a pretty large salad and still be within your calorie range. I add tuna, or chicken, plus apples, walnuts, strawberries, whatever...0

I find salads a huge waste of money. They're so expensive and half of the ingredients end up going off before I use them. Just puts me in a bad mood to throw out food.0

Looking at your diary, you are all over the place. Try getting some kind of food plan in place.
Eggs or oatmeal in the morning for breakfast will keep you full feeling longer. Eat a snack or two between breakfast and lunch Almonds, yogurt, bananas, grapes, etc.
Try a lean meat and salad for lunch. Chicken, tuna, turkey breast. Keep portions to 3-4 oz.
Another snack between dinner like cottage cheese yogurt, etc.
And eat a sensible dinner. You should have around 500 cals left for dinner if you don't exercise.
Take a look at my food plan for ideas.
