So last week was Thanksgiving at my house and I am always busy all week. Well I skipped the gym for most of the week and got back on track this week. Beginning of the week I restarted week 1 day 1 of C25k and couldn't finish due to some pain in my back. Skipped the gym last night and went tonight. Started c25k again and only made it half way thru before I had to stop. Wanted to cry but finally mentally I realized that I cannot go back to my old ways. That I am doing this for me and that even if my Husband doesn't want or can't go with me to the gym some days that I am still going because I refuse to be the old me! I refuse to give up after losing a bunch of weight and building up my endurance to settle back into my old ways! Today I experienced failure but discovered a new mentally stronger me! And that was my NSV!!

That is one of the major victories. I've lost weight in the past but still had the wrong mindset to kuddos to you! We all have our setbacks. That's life but it's what we do to overcome that obstacle that really shows how far we've come!

    Congrats to you!

That's the hardest part sometimes...the MENTAL aspect. Once you push that, it's all possible! :)

I agree. I'm looking to find some sort of discipline when it comes to working out. I am trying to tell myself not to buy an expensive workout DVD set until I can prove to myself that I can work out on a regular basis... so if I work out 5 days a week until the end of December, I will grant myself permission to buy ChaLEAN Extreme. If I don't have the discipline to work out, I can at least have the discipline to save my money.

Thanks for all the kind words. The support here is phenomenal and without all of you this journey would be so much harder!
