don't drink or plan to sleep the next day away because nothing I've tried helps with the nausea besides sleeping it off.

I second the low cal gatoraide.

When my stomach can actually stand the thought of food, I usually have some toast and sometimes even a big breakfast meal, regardless of the time of day I start feeling human again. Soy bacon, egg whites, and the toast. Greasy breakfast food is the best after a night of drinking. Sadly, the night of drinking usually causes me to be over cals, and then the hangover cure isn't exactly the most calorie friendly meal in the world. Sigh.

Coconut water- yes! I randomly tried it when I was hungover and sick with a cold without knowing it's wonders... and it was amazing! Very refreshing and it felt like I was becoming healthy by consuming it. Also: eggs, chocolate milk, bloody marys!

Two Tylenol's before drinking is the best method for no headache the next day.

Waking up and downing a beer in the morning after a hard drinking night also makes me feel better.

For the hangover muchies the Awful Waffle (Waffle House) does the trick.
seriously, don't take tylenol, it's really hard on your liver if you drink ( or have been drinking!)
alcohol makes you feel better but just delays the effecys!
  • The last time I had a wretched hangover I chugged a giant bottle of Gatorade and almost instantly felt a million times better. Now if I could only remember to chug water before I went to bed...then there would be no need!

I'm aware of that but obviously if I'm drinking to the point of excess I'm already putting a stress on my body.

    Rule 1: Don't drink.

    If I forget Rule 1:

Rule 2: 2 Advil and a B-complex vitamin with a big glass of water before bed.

Don't get drunk in the first place.

If I break the previous role, I drink one cup of water for every drink I have. (Which is usually no more that 2-3)
  • Cup of tea and/or food! As soon as I eat I usually feel fine!

I find that cold lemonade helps too! :)

    Definitely rule 1

and if I forget rule 1 then drink LOTS of water before you go to bed and have mcdonald's cheeseburger the next day. the fat and carb overload seem to help me A LOT.

    Menudo, works everytime.

When I was younger and teaching TKD, all the Black Belts would stay after Friday's Class. We'd spar and then usually end up at someone's house and drink too much. Every Saturday Morning we had a class just for Black Belts. We'd meet up at the school, spar, work on forms, sweat out the night before; then we'd head across the street to this little Mexican restaurant. Have a big bowl of Menudo. By noon, we were ready for the weekend.

    Miss all those guys.

I don't have one.. I should adopt one though.

All I do is sit on the couch all day long the next day, I don't move for nothing. I might go get something greasy to eat too. It's rough!! I don't get sick ever so I have no "relief". I just lay there in a coma like state.
