Have taken a short break from logging my calorie intake because I have had a lot on my mind but am slowly getting things back to normal with my boyfriend, have almost finished one of my courses and have my hormone specialist appointment next week so am nervous about that and wish that I knew some one who has seen a hormone specialist so that I know what to expect and I am catching up my food and exercise log now. :)

  • Don't stress over the hormone specialist... I see mine every 3 months or so. Just does a fasting blood test and then goes through the results with me to see what we need to address. He also explained what each hormone does and why and planned out how to balance them for maximum wellbeing and health. So it really depends on why you are seeing one and what your desired outcome is. EG - if it is to try to have a baby he will be able to advise you on diet, products or medication to balance to help set things in motion. Likewise, if for general health, he will be a great help. Until I saw mine I had no idea how complicated our hormones are - I kind of just thought "well, they are what makes us female" - but it is so much more than that.

I am on now ofactors and progesterone cream - both natural - to help balance my hormones. When I actually use them, I find that the weight comes off easier and I do feel better.

    A diet fails!
A new way of life is a commitment!
This is a new way of life!
You have to really want it.
Your body and mind are going to go through detox and will fight tooth and nail for the first month or so.
then one day youll say "Holy **** I have ABS?!!!!"
    =D
