I use this chart to track a more accurate count of calories burned. Unfortunately the MFP exercise tracker doesn't consider your heart rate.

    thanks for the info. Just checked it out. I have a normally higher resting heart rate than most people. It normally is between 105-115 RESTING so I am hoping to bring that down with exercise. this helped me to get a better picture of calories burned too. Thanks again

    This is good but I would be weary here as well due to the V02 Max. I would not put in a 0, using a 0 gives you similar results as if it is over 60 (top athlete level), I would use something between 35 and 50 instead, otherwise you will most likely over estimate your burn even using this calculator.

    I wear a heart rate watch and check my heart rate at least 3x while working out... after warm-up; at the mid-way point then at the end. I then get the average and plug the info in www.shapesense.com. I get the actual calories burned and plug that in on my diary. You can change the calories burned on the workouts....
