Go on Amazon.com and search for "Kamik Brooklyn Boots"

I just got them recently, and I love them! Lightweight and comfy, and CUTE!

They have other colors, but I went with the basic black. But they also have brown, white, red, and even purple on occasion!

Where are you in Wisconsin? I go to the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall that's probably about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. There is a Northface outlet and they usually have boots for a good price.

I'm minutes away from Prime Outlets!!! :drinker:

I have the Columbia Bugaboo Omni Heat boots. They retail for $110 but I found them on sale last year for $89. They're not super tall, but I wear them for snowshoeing, walking, barn chores, etc. and my feet don't get cold in the Minnesota winter!

Here's the link for the specs.

I have an older, not as cute pair of columbias. You are right, they are amazing at keeping your feet warm!

Make sure you get some apple bottom jeans to go with them.

I generally use steel toed mens work boots, and put a little money into them. A good pair tends to be thin, warm, and durable because they must be functional. I figure if someone can wear them for hours a day in cold weather and all sorts of conditions then I can certainly get away with them. They are, however, not the most attractive boots in my closet.

OP is in denial. Moon Boots will never be replaced as the best footwear for cold, snowy days.

Well there are great options everyone has given, but I'd go check out the outlet first. Sometimes you find really great ones, sometimes not so much, but if you are close it's worth the drive! We will probably drive up from Chicago on Saturday to get some christmas shopping done! :)

I would suggest checking into Keen's.
I have a pair. They are extremely durable, waterproof, and warm.

    I have the 'Betty Boot'

Wish I could recommend Keen, but I bought some for my hubbin and they didn't even last through one Boston winter.

I have a pair of cute Totes with faux fur at the top :) They're toasty and super comfortable and cute enough to wear with tights and a skirt if it's snowy out
