OP is in denial. Moon Boots will never be replaced as the best footwear for cold, snowy days.
  • North Face makes some nice ones...and functional for Wisconsin winter.

Where are you in Wisconsin? I go to the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall that's probably about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. There is a Northface outlet and they usually have boots for a good price.

I'm minutes away from Prime Outlets!!! :drinker:

Well there are great options everyone has given, but I'd go check out the outlet first. Sometimes you find really great ones, sometimes not so much, but if you are close it's worth the drive! We will probably drive up from Chicago on Saturday to get some christmas shopping done! :)

I would suggest checking into Keen's.
I have a pair. They are extremely durable, waterproof, and warm.

    I have the 'Betty Boot'

Wish I could recommend Keen, but I bought some for my hubbin and they didn't even last through one Boston winter.

Thank you for enabling the shoe maven in me. I just ordered a pair of these! So cute!!

Go on Amazon.com and search for "Kamik Brooklyn Boots"

I just got them recently, and I love them! Lightweight and comfy, and CUTE!

They have other colors, but I went with the basic black. But they also have brown, white, red, and even purple on occasion!
  • I have a pair of cute Totes with faux fur at the top :) They're toasty and super comfortable and cute enough to wear with tights and a skirt if it's snowy out

theyre a little narrow and come up to the knees...their Shearwater boot is shorter (like just above the ankle) and retails for $118 (all-leather)

Well, I have 14" calves and can tuck in jeans with mine, so they arent crazy narrow... but you need to take the time to lace them according to your fit
