Noob Questions!

Posted this in the general forum but only got one reply, o thought i might try here instead
1. Protien. I seem to be coming up with almost double my protien allowance every day. Everything else is fine and within acceptable limits. I wouldn't say that i'm overloading on protien, it's lots of lean meats egg whites etc so nothing processed and no rubbish but i feel that going so low on the carbs i need the protiens to fill me up. If i contiune with this, what impact will it have on my weightloss?
2. Water. I drink a lot of fluid anyway but have upped it. Only problem is i'm getting up in the night to use the bathroom now! I've tried not drinking past 8 but is there anything else i could do?
3. Headaches. I'm not hungry but at about 4pm every day i've got a cracking headache. Any reason why this could be? May it be because i have significantly dropped my carb intake? (i'm on week 2 now so should be used to it!)
Any thoughs / hints are very welcome!

I know when I started out I was drinking sugar free beverages and I was getting splitting headaches. Some people are allergic to artificial sweeteners. Try and not use them for a while see if that helps with the headaches.0

1. If you are eating good for you protien I do not worry about the numbers. I often go over in order to fill up and I think its fine.
2. IDK what to tell ya here...water makes you pee. I tell my 4 year old she MUST go potty before bed....make yourself go is the best advice I have!
3. Have you cut anything else out...namely sugars or caffines? I could imagine that would cause headaches. If it is just from carb decrease, I am surprised quite honestly as I have not heard of that before.0 -
I have been told by several trainers that keeping up your liquid intake is the best thing to do and having to get up in the middle of the night will go away within a few weeks if you are getting optimal water intake. And I am not sure if protein will hinder your weightloss. It sounds good to me! As for the headaches you might be deficient in a certain vitamin. You can have your dr draw blood and check for deficiencies. I hope you get things figured out!0

As long as you are eating enough calories everything you are doing is great!
If you are being woke up by having to use the bathroom try not drinking any water after dinner and using the bathroom a lot before bed time.
If you reduced your caffeine intake that can give you migraines.
and also to much caffeine can do it to you too.0 -
Are you working out? You need to eat carbs if you are even if you are trying to loose weight.
I eat the same amount of protein as my weight, or at least I try. Don't listen to MFP.
Stop drinking water before bed. I had the same problem, there is no other solution. Just sip on water instead.
Try eating something with sugar for the headaches.0 -
Try getting in your gallon of water before 6pm, that should help!0

Thanks guys!
Regarding the headaches, I think someone may have hit the nail on the head with caffine. I've gone from 6 or 7 caffinated drinks a day down to 2 small cups of tea in the morning (seriously, at this point this is as low as i can go with the caffine intake, still not quite trained myself to fully enjoy green tea!) so that could well be it. Will these stop?
I'm working out moderatley, well, excercising but i wouldn't call it a workout so I am getting carbs and im hitting the right cals but the protien is always off. It's all tuna, chicken breast, eggs, so the right stuff, so I will stop troubling myself wth that and see how it goes.
Thanks again peeps! You're input is thoroughly appreciated!

I had the same thing happen to me when I dropped my caffine intake from 7-8 a day to just 1-2. They will go away but it will take another week or two.0
