Motivation and Results after 1.5 months

I was getting in the shower last night and spent almost 5 minutes in front of the mirror critiquing.I feel like I am being hard on myself, but I still have so far to go until I am happy with my body

For example, my butt is much smaller but still so jiggly. My tummy still pokes out, I need to get leaner so my muscle shows through, etc

Anyway, I was thinking, I joined the gym back in October, the 10th to be exact and I started counting on here at the end of September.
I have lost about 6 lbs total since I have started it all, and about a half inch to .8inch in most areas

Like I said, I feel like I have so much farther to go and I have been working so hard. I could just be hitting the slump, but are these results something I can look forward to continuing if I stick with the calorie counting and my workouts now?

Right now I workout 4-5 times a week, usually spin class atleast twice a week for an hour and then run a 5k twice a week, and 2 miles another day. I haven't been doing much on the side of weigh training besides push ups and twist sit ups.

Any recommendations on:
How to stay motivated?
What to expect in the coming months?
How to modify my workout routine to get tighter/leaner arms and butt?

I am a firm believer that true happiness and satisfaction within yourself has nothing to do with a less jiggly butt or a lower scale number. When will enough be enough? Are you going to have to be perfect to be happy? Are you willing to make sacrifices to have the body you want?
You can sit down and decide on some concrete goals for yourself so that you have something specific to work for. And decide what you are willing to do to get there. It took post partum depression for me to realize that I had to start living for today and be happy with who I am and who I might be one day, because it is the journey that is truly important, not the destination. I didn't want to miss out on my son's birthday cake, or a fantastic night out with friends just because I had to keep from going over calories. I lost the first 35 with alot of stress and sacrifice, the next 10 with some deliberate hard work, and the last 8 because I accepted that I don't want a 6 pack. Well, I would love one, but I am not willing to forego the fun foods/experiences in life that would get me there. Love yourself for who you are and who you are will shine through! As far as tips go.. I am a trainer now, used to be a smoker and donutaholic. I love bodyrock.tv for workouts and I do lots of short races and at least 1 sprint triathlon every summer. It took alot of diets for me to understand what works for me, I do about 45% carbs and evenly split the rest between fat and protein. I have been food logging for the better part of 12 years. EEK! Thats a long time but I love it and it keeps me in touch with everything else in my life. Check out this site for calculating how much of you is lean and how much is fat. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/body-fat-chart.php
Good luck and may the journey be just as much fun as the destination!
