How To Stop Zig-Zagging?

How can I stop my hunger form zig-zagging all the time? Some days I will not be hungry all day, more or less force myself to eat and be under 400+ cals under. Then other days I will be super hungry and go over (although I try not to go too far over). Keep in mind I almost always net 1200 on days I am not hungry anyway, but my goal is 1600.
Would forcing myself to eat more on my non-hungry days mean I'd have less hungry days? There are usually not right after each other. Generally I'll have a few normal days, non-hungry day, 2-3 normal days and then a hungry day.

I eat six small meals a day. Once you are on a schedule your body should adjust.

set a timer on your phone and eat every 3 hours.
also eat things like nuts on days you aren't overly hungry. they are high in cals, but very good for you.0
