Other than water retention, which makes for a possible temporary gain/stall in the scales, what is so bad about sodium? If you drink enough water and you don't care about water retention, should you really worry about sodium levels?

    Unless you have problems with high blood pressure, it's really nothing to worry about.

    Not unless you have hypertension, or risk factors for hypertension. And maybe not even then. It depends on the person.

    It does impact potassium absorption though, and that can be a problem. So track your potassium and make sure to hit or exceed your potassium goal.
