Pre-workout nutrition suggestions?

Options
Hey all,
I do my exercise first thing in the morning - usually within 15 - 20 mins of waking. I am finding though that sometimes i may get light-headedness, nauseous, quickly fatigued etc. and thought that a quick something to eat or drink pre-workout may assist? Not sure what to have though that will help and not feel too full in my stomach?
Thanks

That's kind of a tough one potentially. Because you work out so soon after waking, you run the risk of getting ill from even a light meal right before your workout. Your mileage may vary, though. Some people eat heavy meals before tough workouts without a problem. I'm not one of them.

I'd try something light like some regular milk and maybe an egg. It'll have some carbs and protein for energy and hopefully won't be too hard to digest.

If you don't do well on solid food right before training, sip on a shake during your workout.

My preferred ones are bananas, toast & pb, or one of those sugary yogurts.

    Powerbar - Pure & Simple - Roasted Peanut Butter, 1 bar 140cals
    or Raw Amonds.

These are cheap and take care of that light headed feeling.
