To My Fellow Composters, a question

I finally went through my tea cabinet, and sure enough, 9 our of my 12 boxes were waaay past the use by date. They are all celestial seasonings tea bags, so no string, stables, or tags.
Can I put these in my compost pile? I do have plans to use this compost in a garden in the spring.
Thanks for any advice you can give!

Yep you sure can. Just toss 'em in there, they'll break down. Bags with strings and tags are fine too, it all turns to mush in the compost.

You have your answer. And yay for composting! I live in South FL so I mostly get to garden all year. I had a basil plant die on me. I threw it in the compost bin and it came back to life. Gotta love that thing.

We drink a lot of coffee. I was worried about PH levels so now I only toss about half the ground in. It was getting to be 80% of the compost was grounds haha.
