Calcium importance with training?

Anyone out there (women especially) who lift heavy and infuse cardio concerned with calcium intake due to future osteoporosis? My intake is about 1000 food, and 2400 IU. Thats an avg. of 3400mg calcium per day. So many opinions, incl. my doctor?
Question, is there a set limit that you have with calcium?? Our bones and muscles need both, how much is enough??

the calcium your muscles need is inherently in your body - your body shunts calcium in and out of specialized organelles in your muscle contraction units based on the strength and number of contractions you are doing - so the increased contractions from exercise are compensated by your body.
osteoporosis is more a factor of estrogen then actual calcium availability - hence why its mostly treated with HRT, weight lifting is actually good for bone health
Just my 2 cents - i could def be off and someone has seen results supplementing Ca0
