BBQ Turkey Wrap
I had gone out a couple of weeks ago and had a little "cheat" meal. It was a BBQ Turkey Wrap.
I decided to create a healthier version at home.
I used a Joseph's Tortilla (high in fiber and flax)
1 serving of Butterball deli-shaved oven roasted turkey
2 tablespoons 2% shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon BBQ sauce (I used the Trader Joe's brand I had around)
I just put the turkey and cheese in the tortilla and warmed it (melted the cheese) in the microwave and then put the bbq sauce on.
It was delicious and very filling and a great "post-workout" snack or light meal. The one at the restaurant had bacon in it but I left that out. If you like it, I am sure a slice of bacon crumbled up wouldn't be horrible either and would be satisfying!!
The way I made it, using those ingredients, it came out to:
193 Calories
7 g Fat
6 g Fiber
21 g Protein
It may vary, depending on what you use.
