I was wondering if there is a lot of squatting or on your knees exercises and if so is there a lot of them? I have rods in both of my femur bones that push hard and hurt a lot when squatting or on my knees. I really want to try it though.

I find it to be rather hard on my knees and I don't have rods in mine. Sorry. :(

There's pushups (that I do on my knees), and like the others have said, there's a lot of squatting. One of the girls in the video does offer the modifications for the exercises, so I usually don't get as deep into my squatting as the others do because I have bad knees too.

Yes, very hard on knees and I have never had knee problems in the past. I can only do it a couple times a week.

Just think of it as this, even if you modify the squats and jumps to protect your knees, you are still moving and exercising! I think that is the mentality of Zumba too, doesn't matter how you look while doing, just move! Best to you!
