okay, so i have this issue where im always over on sodium and carbs....i know that sodium is gonna make me bloated and whatnot. i do try to watch my salt intake but its not always easy. But carbs what about them? is there anyone else thats consistanly over on them? is it gonna hurt anything really? im not big on the low carb diets, i feel calories are whats important. so just wondering?

Carbs may make you retain a bit of water, they won't hurt fat loss

The above reply by Rock covers it. If you don't have any insulin related medical conditions then you should be fine. Stay in a calorie deficit and don't neglect protein/fat.

How the heck do you go over carbs and sodium? I've been under my goals by a third and up to half since I started MFP.... seriously I need to know because I know not getting enough can hinder cardio performance.
