This may be of interest to all the curlers on this site.....both of them LOL ! But I wanted to get some accurate calorie burn info to log....

OK, so I wore my HRM while curling last night....and was a bit surprised at the results. The match lasted 105 minutes, and my HRM reported 615 calories! That kind of surprised me because much of the time my heart rate wasn't much higher than 95. Immediately after going down the ice, if there was a lot of sweeping involved I did see it as high as 124. Not high compared to running or some other cardio exercise, but within the low end of my cardio range. My question is would I Iog the 615 calories? Or would you (as I did) take my BMR of 1803 cal/day, divided by 24 giving me 75 per hour; then subtract out 150 for the almost 2 hours of curling, then log the 465 cal's?
