If there is another topic about this sorry! I just read through the "worst present" post and made me want to ask..
What is the BEST or most thoughtful present you have ever been given for any holiday?
Mine would have to be a tie between 2 things my husband did for me...
The first when we were still dating he took me all the way to Puerto Rico (we live in Indiana) for Motley Crue's first concert in years. He bought me meet and greet tickets, plane tickets, ect. It was for Valentine's Day of that year. He didn't have enough money to go to the concert to, so he sent me alone... And let me add he HATES Motley Crue.. How adorable!
And the second isn't as expensive but means alot to me in the same way. It was Valentine's Day again and he bought me a red cooler. I have to say I was dissapointed and confused at first until he said that wasn't all I got, we were going somewhere. He drove me to Starbucks (we have none around here and I love that place so much) and bought me 4 of my favorite drink and got some ice and packed them in the cooler! He took me to dinner and then we drove home, the ice kept them nice and believe it or not they survived weeks going from the freezer to the fridge as I slowly sipped them (was on a diet then to)... and they tasted the same! It was such a thoughtful, amazing gift.. I will never forgot it! (and I bet he wishes I would lol)
So what about you guys? Best gifts/things people did for you for any holiday?

Well, I got married just a few days before Christmas three years ago. My marriage is one of the best gifts EVER!
As far as actual tangible gifts? My mom sketched a picture of my son a couple of years ago. It's a pencil sketch and is just gorgeous. I love looking at it on my wall every day.0 -
One gift that really stands out for me is my coffee tree. A friend got it as a housewarming gift because she knows I am such a coffee enthusiast. When I received it, it was a tiny little baby. And I've had it I think about 3 years now. Seattle is the wrong climate for this plant, but it's surviving decently indoors. I'm looking very forward to the day it produces fruit. Just for kicks I'm going to roast the "beans" I get from it and make a cup of coffee from it. It's the only plant I've ever successfully taken care of and not killed. And I'm very very fond of it.0

I've always dreamed of going to Ireland. Once, a friend caught wind of this and found a web site where they could "buy" me a small piece of Ireland. A landowner was selling 1 sq. in. plots. It came complete with a deed and a picture of my "land."0

The few times that he buys or rents chick flicks (cause I know he hates them)
Dark chocolate covered strawberries ( I love them and he hates them)
It doesnt take much for me.
Small things that say I hate this stuff but I'll get them 'cause I know you love them is all I need.
I guess for those special ocassions it has been a nice camera, a really nice printer....
All from my husband. Its been stuff that just because he knows me.. he knows I'd like. I'm looking forward to travel

One year for Christmas our bosses sent the three of us girls to lunch at a great hotel in town. Then a limo showed up and took us to a mall to go shopping and we were given gift certificates to the mall. Then we were told to go to a restaurant at the mall in the evening and our husbands were there along with the bosses and spouses for a dinner party. It was such a wonderful day and made us feel so special!0
