Hello fellas!
I wanted to ask your opinion about an idea I’m tossing around in my head about what to give my boyfriend for a holiday gift. Sorry it might be mildly inappropriate :blushing: but here it goes anyway…

If you were dating a girl (been together about 3 months) and she gave you racy (think 50’s pin up, we are not talking playboy or anything, but classy sexy) pictures of herself for a gift would you find that weird? Or would it be sexy and welcomed?

I’m on the fence because on one hand I think it would be something that he is not ever going to expect, but at the same time is it strange to give someone a picture of yourself? Like I’m being self-centered, here a go, it’s ME! lol
So if you would please let me know your thoughts…
Good idea? You would love getting this from your girl.
Or bad idea? Too soon, creepy, self-centered.

Thanks guys! I’m embarrassed to ask people I really know but I would really love to hear fedback…

It's a great idea, as long as you know he's just as in to you. I assume that since you say he's your bf that he is. So go for it! He'll love it! So long as it's not being used as an attempt to get a guy - that would be desperate

Nope, not trying to get him  he is mine already. And he wants to spend 10 days in Hawaii with me (we are going in March) so I'm sure he is into me.

I might not be the best to answer this as I do not get emotionally attached to people or things. I value functionality over sentiment. So I'd admit that I'd be a little disappointed.

That said, if I ever figured out how to become emotionally attached to the point that I was a nervous wreck when we broke up, it'd be much easier to throw out a picture than a Ralph Lauren Black Label Paddock top coat.

One way, it sounds super hot, but another way, after only 3 months, something may happen and you could grow to regret it.
  • I agree that it may be too soon. My girlfriend and I are big proponents of gifts that allow us to do things together. After three months of dating she took me to an amazing concert. I've taken her on vineyard tours, etc.

I also might add that his birthday is really close to Christmas, so I have gotten him Sharks tickets because he loves hockey...
But yeah, I'm only worried about it being too soon.
Thanks for the input so far, keep it coming!

    This.

I'd be put off by it at 3 months, FWIW.

Go for it if it doesn't make you nervous. But 3 months seems way too soon IMO. Make sure you trust him a lot. You don't want to end up on some porn site if things go sour. :drinker:

OK, what is a holiday gift? Something to take away on holiday? I would think that photographs of you would be good to take if he is going abroad for his holiday or for a long time, although it might depend on his luggage allowance and it might be embarrassing at the airport if customs search his luggage

I'm obviously not a guy but I agree with this ^^. Its a great gift idea and I'm sure he'll love it but what if you guys split?? That may be a better idea for a 1-year anniversary or something....

This is just why I'm asking. Not worried about the picture "leaking" because it wont be that bad. I've seen more skin on before/after pictures than I'm planning on showing...

    Think she means Christmas gift.

I'll have to ask my husband this tonight if I remember.... I'm just curious what he'd think. If it were reversed and a man gave me pix of himself after 3 mos, I'd think he was a super narcissist , but I'll see what my other half says! I did give him a mouse pad with a pic on it after about 6 months but it was of us @ a baseball game, not me. It's at his office on his desk now:) I've never given anyone a pic of just me unless they asked for one.
