I am SOO excited I finally got my F6 and about to set it up so I can workout!

Question: Do you have to change your weight on it everyday?

Thanks,
Jenn

I don't update mine every day.. I just update mine as Imy weight goes lower... maybe once a week or every other week...

welcome to the world of Heart Rate Monitors.. I'm addicted to mine, it makes me WANT to work out so I know how many calories I'm burning!
  • I change mine with my weekly weigh in

change it as often as you like. But you don't NEED to. I would recommend every 3 to 5 lb weight change, change the weight on the watch. Smaller changes then that probably won't effect the way your metabolism works.

I know I can't wait to set it up so I can get moving and workout!
  • LOVE MY F6!
Bought it as a v-day present to myself and it's amazing! I really appreciate the "Own Code" function that reduces (but does not eliminate :grumble: ) Cross Talk from other monitors and equipment in the gym. It's awesome!

Guess I'm lucky with this, no one really goes to the gym where I work out. Let me rephase that, they lift, and do slim to no cardio. If they do, I don't think they use one because I've never had this problem yet
  • I had an issue where the treadmill I was on was set up to read Polar transmitters, and so it threw my reciever (watch) off! I thought that's what the function was supposed to prevent, but it only happened once and although it may not have read my HR correctly for about 3 minutes, I was in a line of about 15 of these treadmills, and so it may have just been WAY too electrically noisy.
