So this weeked I cheated a bit because my husband took me out to eat on Valentines Day .I didn't eat anything horrible for me I made good choices and drank lots of water this weekend and still worked out .Saturday I weighed in at 230.Today I weigh in at 234 which today is my normal weigh in day.This is more than likely just water weight right?It will come back off right?I am not going to change my ticker because I believe thats what it is.I didn't eat enough food this weekend to gain 4 pounds back.I even skipped dessert.I had a baked potato with sour cream,a small 4 ounce steak and a caesar salad for dinner that night.We had an appetizer too but I only had two chicken tenders.So what gives should I freak out?

  • it's probably nothing but I would still change your ticker bc next week when you lose a lot you can change it back. I gained 7.5 pounds while vacationing in FL and although it might not have been all fat i still acknowledged it and then this past week I lost 4. I debated about even weighing in after my vacation but the only one I'm kidding is myself.

    if you only overate on valentines day then the salt from the dinner probably has a lot to do with it. don't dwell on the 4 pound gain, just follow your plan and next week you'll see awesome results.

    well..will freaking ou do anything good? doubt it...get back on the horse...burn some calories...remember the dinner as a treat that you GET to work off not HAVE to work off

    Freaking out is not part of a productive path to my long term goals, so when i weighed in after a crappy pre-period week and had gained 3 pounds, I picked myself up, dusted myself off, and started over again (the next day) *song shamlessly stolen from Anita O'Day.

    I'm sure that it probably is my pre-period water weight because I have been hungrier than normal so I am guessing thats what it is and I am not going to worry about it .Thanks guys!! Its really not possible to gain 4 pounds of fat in 2 days though right?
