I am making dips for a Christmas party next weekend. Anyone have any good lowfat recipies for dip?

A very generic ranch dip would be 16oz of plain greek yogurt and hidden valley ranch dip packet! If your looking for more upscale my mind is blank but many fabulous recipe websites out there!

There are a million variations of hummus you can make. I leave out the tahini and reduce the amount of olive oil I use to reduce the total calories.

Homemade salsa is also delicious and low fat.

Oh I remember another one...Fresh salsa 12-16 oz (not jar), 1 c frozen corn thawed, 1 can of black beans or pinto beans, red onion, green onion ( to taste), cut up some jalepeno slices (to taste), 1 can of black olives,( already sliced or slice yourself) 1 c of plain greek yogurt ( if not creamy enough add more to your preference) add a little sea salt and black pepper if you want!

hA...DUH...? well...we actually need fat and cutting it out and replacing it with sugar to make up for the taste isnt rally solving our issue. fat is not the enemy...too many calories is our problem. please dont think eliminating fat from your diet is a good thing...we need fat

Absolutely, love extra virgin & regular olive oil...would eat more avocado if my throat didn't itch after eating...yes, I know that sucks! I love avocado. If you look at low-fat yogurts for instance...nothing good about them and they are loaded with sugar! I DON'T use diet butters either, I limit how much I eat but choose and love real butter everytime!
