Pre-Wokout

I was wondering if it's absolutely necessary to take a pre workout formula. Like a BCAA or Jack3d or Re-Con or any of those lovely sounding formulas...

And as far as women are concerned, will taking these make me bulky?

Is there one in particular that will help burn the fat that I'm trying to get off?

Do you guys have any fat loss/toning success stories in which these pre-workout supplements don't play a role?

    Absolutely necessary? Absolutely not.

    I hit my fat loss goals without ever taking pre-workout supplements.

    i don't use any formulas or supplements or anything, but i find that i work better when i eat a bunch of protein before i work out, like some egg whites or yogurt or something like that. the point is to supply your muscles with extra energy as they break down, right? so i figure this is a good alternative. also, i'm also less nauseated/hungry afterward.
