Hi Everyone :flowerforyou:

I went for a 8 mile hike. We finished it in 3 hours 15 min. My hiking buddy wasn't sure that I could do it, but I did! :glasses: I'm thrilled about my performance even though the last mile was tough!

I got several blisters and one big blood blister on my right foot. I've been soaking them in epsom salts. They sure hurt

I've still been working out every night at the YMCA. We are planning another 6 mile hike next Thursday. I hope my blisters heal by then.

I'm so thrilled to have a hiking buddy!:smokin: We plan on day hiking once a week and maybe some overnight backpacking this summer. :glasses:

Hiking is so rewarding with all the fresh air and beauty to take in:flowerforyou:

I don't know if you have heard of it but up here in Colorado a lot of hikers use a product called Mole Skin. It's really useful in preventing blisters.

Keep it up and good luck:drinker:

Great work! Keep it going! Consider also high performance hiking socks with Coolmax. They wick away moisture and help to prevent blisters.
