Well i would say yes but the ones I have been to lately seem to be tired crab and dont care you are just a number. This bothers me I have said this to my wife. They are their for the pay in the healthy care feild not the want to help people.0

I'd be careful with the accusations. It's always easy to assume one doesn;t care, when you actually end up in health- and social care it's a different picture though. Let's be frank, people are overworked and have very strict time limits - there is only so much you can do in a day - and here's also the root of evil in regards to look after one self. Looking after others and working far above the hours one should work, leads to not taking any notice of own needs. Boom you are the one advising about healthy lifestyle but your's is far from good ... it's easy done.
And yes, Healthcare and Social Professionals should try and set an example, many do anyway every day. But from own experience I can only say, you can't preach one thing and do the opposite0 -
EVERYONE should set a good example as best as they can.0

Just saying my wife and I where in the same place two diffrent rooms same people both had pink eye they gave me stuff but not her. If it wasnt for me speaking up . My wife wouldnt of got what she needed. numbers i say0

You can't go down that route if you have no care, it's a lot of hard work. There's so many things to do in such small amount of time & not enough resources. 'though you can tell when a doctor is there for the money by their attitude.0

Just curious what ya'll thought. I am going into the health care field and i feel that it is my duty to not only be as educated as i can, but also set an example of healthy lifestyle. I find it to be a little contradictory to tell patients what they need to do, while those individuals smoke, eat poorly, and a number of different other choices. Just food for thought.(no pun intended)0
