So today would be day 3 of the 30DS but I had to work today (I'm a nanny) and usually I'm off at 5:30pm but today I am staying overnight...I am watching 3 and 6 year old boys. Once they go to sleep I cannot do the 30DS because the jumping jacks...etc...will cause too much noise and wake them up. I really didn't want to take a break yet...what are your opinions on if I do it once tomorrow morning and once tomorrow night. Should that count as days 3 and 4?

in her other videos she says 6 days and one day off to let your body rest and let your muscle grow.... just let this be your day 7 if you know what i mean...
  • Yea I see what you mean, good idea. I'm just worried that I'm gonna be sore ALL over again since I'm only on day 3.
  • I would just take 1 days off. let it be your rest day. and then do 6 strait days after this! W2G with the 30 day shred!!!! i love that one! i used to do it, and need to do it again!

    Does it hurt?
  • My soreness just went away this morning...so I guess not.
  • 30-day shred - yes, you can take a day off. I was SO SORE on day 2-3-4 and pretty much day 5, too. I did just keep working thru it though. There were some days I had to stop - since I went to my Zumba class (Tues and Thurs) so on those days, I didn't do the shred. More like 45-day shred. I think the idea is to do SOMETHING big like the shred every day - and if you take a day off, it's still ok, but try and get in a walk, or something physical. It won't set you back if you skip a day. I wouldn't make a habit of skipping, however. You're gonna be sore if you don't do it, and you're gonna be sore if you DO do it.....I finally stopped being sore around day 8 of level 1. And then....we started level 2. Soreness - but just in different areas. Keep up the good work, and don' t freak out cuz you missed a day - you'll get back to it in another day. Good luck.
