I have defied, MFP's calculation of my daily calorie goal of 1310 goal and set it as my BMR which is 1690. I just want someone to browse my profile and diary and give me some advice, criticism, tips or whatever. Just want to know I'm headed in the right direction? I still want to lose another 5 or 6 kg and have more of an athletic build, I am 172cm, 75.7kg, 41% muscle, 23.5% fat, 53.9% water, 14.5% bone ATM if that helps :)

1300 calories a day isn't enough, especially for a man who is trying to acquire muscle "/
  • Lift heavy weights, do cardio in between and eat lots of protein, if you want to replace the fat with muscle or else you will just be skinny.

Um have to disagree a little woth the previous guy... U need extra excess cals to build proper muscle... Hence bulk.. N to cut fat u need to be in calorie deficit.. Thats why people cycle... If u want to cut i think 1700cals is a bit low but okay.. N instead of lifting heave do lots lf supersets, trisets, giant sets for high reps and cardio at end of workout...

Now u have to decide which u want more.. One thing is though it is ALOT easier to burn fat when u have muscle so even id u did a clean bulk with decent cardio n lifted heavy ur BF would go down n muscle would increase and after that u could do a cutt n ull see alot more results quicker

Just looked at ur pics... If their recent.. Id say deff bulk up! Build a good foundation of muscle as ur small roght now
