Its taken a year for my waist to come down to 36" (from 42", and I have lost 18 KGs in the process), so yours is excellent progress I suppose Keep it up.0

You see... they were lying when they said "a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips" ... and you're the proof.
Well done Richard!!! :flowerforyou:
Remember it's not always about the scales.... but more about how you feel in yourself and certainly clothes are an excellent benchmark. I'm sitting here in a shirt I bought from M&S before the summer. Despite the label claiming it was XXL it was always tight on me when I sat down. Now it's baggy on me.
I'm almost at the elusive 95kg (15st) which is my first major goal and I want to be there by Christmas. It will be the best present to myself ever. Well... until next year when I ought to be at least 80kg (12½st) or maybe even less
You are making a commitment... a long-term commitments... and it's certainly showing results  :glasses:0 -
Great job! It's good to take measurements as well as weight for just these times! Keep moving forward you're doing fantastic!0

OMG!
I still remember the start of what is a wonderful journey.
I was tight in 44 pants - and after losing 15 lbs, they fit much better. And then I was able to button tightly the 42's which I wore with pride through another 15lbs of weight loss. And I still remember buying those size 40 shorts that I could not button, but I wore them anyway, using rubber bands and a belt, hidden nicely with my shirt draped over my lard.
I went from 262 lbs down to 223, and somewhere around 225, I did the impossible: I buttoned the size 40 shorts! I ran through my clothes, giving away everything above size 40. IT FELT GREAT!
Now, I am right at 200 lbs - almost to goal - just entering 36 pants and on my way down to 34, and eventually 32 size pants.
It's a GREAT feeling to slide into pants that represent a new size - a lower weight and smaller waist.
