How to I log it?

Hi, I'm going to be stripping wallpaper off 3 walls this week and it's not going to be easy, but I was wondering how to log it down.
Obviously I'll be able to time how long it takes, but it's going to involve going up and down ladders and hard work with the scraper when it doesn't come off easily and know from previous experience it brings a sweat on. Do you suggest that maybe class it as aerobic and if so what level? Thanks in advance.

I put in a cardio item under exercise. As a general rule, if I am breaking a sweat, I use 8 calories a minute less my bmr calories0

I'd either search online to see if there's a calculator (I found one for painting walls and created a custom exercise based on that information) or call it "cleaning, vigorous effort."0

I, too, would use "cleaning" .0

Count it as cleaning, vigorous effort0

Thanks. I've just done a little bit and found that there is lining paper underneath the wallpaper, so it's going to take longer than originally thought.
I'm not going to put wallpaper back on, just paint the plaster, though after discovering the original plaster has been painted in an awful dark turquoise colour, it's going to several coats of the light colour I've chosen to cover that up.
Would you class the painting as cleaning too - though don't think you could class that as vigorous, but again there are will all the times I'll be going up and down the ladders?0 -
You might be able to find your answer here....

Brilliant site! Thanks!0 -
I would also log it under cleaning. Also a tip from past wallpaper removal experience, I highly recommend using a steamer to loosen the paper and primer (I like Killz) before you paint0

Would love to be able to use a steamer but haven't got one, so it's just good old fashioned manual labour for me. ( I'll just think of the cals I'll be burning.0

Sorry, forgot to say thanks for giving me those 2 web sites. Think I'm going to have some very sore arms this week! But all for a good cause - rid of horrible wallpaper and more toned arms. Though that's actually going to take quite a while - maybe do every room in every house on a very long road would do the trick! :laugh:0
