Has anyone given any thought to what will be your New Years Resolution(s)?

I decided that I am cutting out fast food. The only exceptable place I will be visiting for breakfast/lunch/dinner is Subway! They have so many choices, I love them! And if once in a while my family/friends want to go to an eat in style restaurant... All I can do is make healthy choices. In the end it will be a reward because I will NOT be splurging by eating junk food and overall it will save me money! Looking forward to a bright new year and a smaller pant size!! :)

I would love to hear what everyone is thinking on doing for their resolution(s)!

And you don't have to just have one resolution. I am probably going to come up with a few different ones!!

As sure as I'm sitting here, I've always broken New Year's Resolution, so this year I'm not making one.

I've already made a commitment to get into a bikini by June 2012. I'm good with that. :)

I think my New Years' Resolution is NOT WORRY SO MUCH.

CONTEXT: I'm currently jobless, & thanks to a very stupid idea of getting into owning rental property, I have about $220k in DEBT because of it. I have tenants that don't pay, wreck the place, leave it a mess... its' been a real pain in my *kitten* since I bought it in 2008. I'm currently trying to unload it, & find a job. I've been out of work for about 10 days now, & it's already making me crazy, though I have had a couple of interviews & another scheduled.

In the past, I have suffered depression, when my weight ballooned by 40lbs. ALMOST back down... about 5lbs off my weight BEFORE depression. 10lbs & I'll be back to the weight I was before Mom died in November 2005. But as part of depression, I also have insomnia. So...

Less Worrying = Better Sleep = More Energy

    Or alternatively....

Less Worrying = Less Stress = Less Stress-Eating

That's how that works, right? lol

I always said I'm not making a new years resolution because I always break them... now I am the exception to my own rule. Last January 1st I started "a healthier lifestyle", with the pushing and prodding from my husband... I started with reluctance and self doubt. So sure I would not succeed, in fact, that I bought myself a new coat (expensive in my book) knowing that if I lost weight it would be too big. And here I am, 11 months later, 53 lbs lighter, with a very warm and stylish gunny sack in my coat closet!

My sincere thanks to the Lord, my deceased mother, my wonderful husband, and all my MFP friends!

My new years resolution this year is to continue this "healthier lifestyle" and finish what I started.... 27 more lbs to go!

I like the worrying less one! I think I'm going to adopt that too, not stressing so much, remembering it's life, it's for living, anything that won't be affecting me in a years time shouldn't be ruining my day!

I was thinking the other day this is the first year in as long as I can remember my new years resolution ISN'T "Lose 10 pounds", "Go to the gym more' or "eat healthy" - not that I am not going to do those last two, but thanks to MFP that is so ingrained in my lifestyle there is no need to resolve to do things that are already habit!

So my resolutions this year are:

    - Stress less, don't sweat the small stuff
    - Sort out my finances, spending and saving habits
    - Focus more on the moment and what I am doing a one time (i tend to lose, break, forget things because I am always thinking about things other than the task at hand!)
    - Spend more time with my friends and family

    :)
