Hi everyone.
My name is Wendy - and I have been struggling off and on (read that caring and not caring) about losing 15 pounds for several years. i have a 4 year old and really just need to be healthier - better food and more activity. A good example as well as live longer (I am 39)
My friend Jean introduced me to the site a few days ago and I am hoping that this will help me see my actions a bit more clearly to help me stay focused.

I'll be honest with you, motivation gets you started, but it's habit that will get you results.

Welcome to MFP. The best advice I can give you is to be very anal about logging what you eat and do as soon as you can. This site is amazing and has practically every food I have eaten.
