I'm all about people wanting to show off their new and improved bodies. Props to them, they've worked hard and deserve it. On the other hand there are some pictures that are just a little too revealing for me and make me feel uncomfortable when I see them. I don't want to be rude and delete them, but sometimes I can't help but cringe when I see these pics. Anyone else feel like people go a little overboard???

Nope, but I am English and we are more liberal. We have totally naked women in our daily newspapers everyday, so the tiny pictures in the side bar don't worry me. i am more worried by people using pictures of other people...weird

LOL, that worries me too. Or how about the people who's pictures are obviously photoshopped to look skinnier, but it doesn't look right at all!! So funny. You're only cheating yourself by doing that.

Hahaha I am German and I disagree - compared with the rest of europe you british guys are not liberal at all (just teasing... *hides*)

But well, it comes down to personal choices I guess. Don't look if you don't like. This is a forum for people from all over the world, therefore you will find people that are not so liberal, bit more liberal and some that totally love nudity ^^

I'm the type that I post what I want when I want where I want, and if people don't like it I'm not forcing them to look at it, that is their choice. If someone else does the same, I'm not going to say anything, it's not my place. It don't bother me. People are who they are and post what they post, I don't think it's my place to try and change that. Unless they aren't within the rules of the site, I don't see an issue

I'm not telling people I don't like their pictures. It's just a personal preference of mine, something I cannot control.

I've can't think of one picture I've seen on here and thought "oh man that's going to far"
And I've never seen an picture of mans abs that offense me.

People have worked hard and are proud, let them show it off.

I've also never seen anything that looked to me to be a poster photoshopping themselves.

i have friended guys simply because their profile pic shows almost too much. Honestly, i sent a fr yesterday that said, "I'm not gonna lie... You're pic is hot."

I'm American and I don't find that to be an issue. Maybe I need to move there? :bigsmile:

That said I don't care one way or the other but I don't think many realize that even with a private profile photos can and do show in a Google image search. So, before posting photos just keep that tidbit in mind. As long as they fit within the TOS of MFP then I guess it's not a problem.

I agree. Some of my friends have the most amazing pics of themselves fully clothed in a nice dress or something and I think it shows off their hard work in a much more appealing way!

not at all. I think to each his/her own. Relish in your accomplishments and if you so choose, show them off in all your glory. They don't bother me in the least.

I don't think it's all that big a deal. I don't see anything here I wouldn't see at the beach or in a Beauty Pageant Swim Suit contest or a bodybuilding competition. Oh, and I have recently been made aware of the photoshopers. I can deal with a lot, like the downward camera angle, or what I do, the chest up (no tummy shots, lol), but some of these people on here are just straight lying.

Have people never heard of Ad Blockers? You can block those oh-so-offensive pics and protect your delicate sensibilities. I always block pictures of snakes (reptilian, not trouser) because they creep me out.
