just a few minutes ago my son 12 and over weight just got up and took the dog for a walk, with out being asked. Last night we talked about the importance of getting up and moving rather then siting all day. So proud.

So awesome! My kids have done things like that as well, only it was with food. I would catch them in the morning talking about cereal, and "Sarah! That's WAY more than a serving size!" Or 1 kid would measure it all out.

Kids are so funny sometimes!

That's great. Mine is on the elliptical machine right now so he can watch tv.

That's awesome! Who doesn't love a proud parenting moment! I am running a 1 mile fun run with my 5 year old son next weekend! Well, I hope we are running it, he has jogged/walked about a mile with me before so I hope the excitement of the race will get him moving!

VERY cool!!! i've noticed my son making slight changes too since i've started this.. asking for ice water instead of soda, putting down the video games, etc. makes you feel really good inside!!!
