Victory kind of?

About 7 weeks ago I had a job interview, my suit had seen better days so I bought a new one spending about $600 in the process. Fit fine for the interview, and in the end didn't get the job. Thursday I had a meeting to go to where it was imperative I be well dressed so I pulled out the suit. Pants were loose and baggy, the belt I bought with the suit had to be pulled to the last notch to have any hope of keeping the pants up. Now 2 months later it looks like I have to take this "new" suit to be altered so it actually fits the current me. I might leave it a bit since it still is wearable and see where I get to.

Makes me wish I had made the old one due since the job went to someone else.

Joe, there is no doubt about it, this is a VICTORY! Congratulations to you for that. You had to buy the suit so you could have this victory. The suit, once altered, will see a new job somewhere. Way to go.
