So sugar is in a lot of foods and I personally do not count the sugar in fruits, veggies, dairy, ect. toward my daily sugar limit of about 40. I usually eat very healthy and I am health concious, give or take a few cheat meals. Lately though I have been eating more processed sugar and I even started eating something that I absolutley opposed before. I work in a store doing resets, and in the stores im in they have a whole bakery shelf with donuts. Before now, I would have maybe 1 or 2 donuts a year, maybe not even that, but I tried one the other day and now I cant stop. I even so much as got 3 from the dunkin donuts by my house, and I made myself soooo sick! Thats how I have become lately with sugar, I eat healthy during the day and then after dinner I eat chocolate and other sweets until im sick. I dont want to do this anymore to myself, so how can I slowly break this habbit?

I'm dealing every day with sugar addiction. The only way, really, is to stop. Whenever you want sugar, grab a fruit. Try to have more complex carbs (brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat pasta and bread), it'll help cut the cravings in the long term.
Whatever happens, never eat enough to make yourself sick! I've done this time and time again, eat enough candy to get, literally, high on sugar. It's horrible. I'm glad I haven't done this for months.
Just hold on there, you're not alone. If you DO want some, try to cut it drastically... half a donut, for example, a day. Also, don't forget that donuts are also full, FULL of fat. Try to focus back on your healthy eating. You'll get cravings, but if you hold on and resist, the cravings will be gone within a few weeks. Drink plenty of water, too.
Good luck!0
