Exercises to target hips?

    Pelvic lifts. I LOVE them. You can do them by lifting both hips or by only keeping one leg bent and one leg straight, and lifting that way, like Jillian Michaels does hers. either way, I've seen results from doing them. Good for your glutes and thighs as well.

    If you're looking to target the hip area in terms of weight loss in that specific area...I'm sorry to disappoint you when I say, there is no such thing as spot treatment.

    If your looking to gain strength in your glutes, quads, and connecting ligaments...There is no better exercise than the squat. This compound exercise will adequately strengthen and tone your legs as a whole.

    side lunges ( upper thighs and hips)

    I dont know what they are called but the butt exercise there you are on knees and hands, extend one leg out behind you and bend, pointing toes toward ceiling, and lift up and down. I can do about 30. This helps hips and gluts.

    you have to put on a will smith CD and skip to the track "getting Jiggy with it" that will target your hips like nothing else!~
