machine vs site

My treadmill gives me a calories used number for the exercise I do that varies wildly from the calorie counts listed on this site -- and I don't know which one is more accurate. Has that happened to any of you, and how have you resolved it? I need those exercise calories to make my plan work, but I don't want to be just kidding myself by using a larger but inaccurate number.

Chose activity calculator.
Put your weight in and time and find your activity or similar.
Hit calculate.
It should be the most accurate value without very expensive and complex equipment.0 -
From the topic title, I was wondering if Spike was introducing a new series.0
