Hey from South Africa

Hey guys,
Voicy here from South Africa. Just want to say hi and well done to everyone for even making the effort to join here in the first place. Reading through some of the message board topics and success stories I'm VERY impressed and partly jealous at some of the progress shown on here.
Just a quick intro on myself: I'm about to turn 29, 5'10" and working in the engineering sector. I joined MFP in September sometime, but I've never read the forums until this week.
After a rather heavy breakup with the gf I finally decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and to stop hiding from the world in my online gaming addiction. I made a commitment to cut out sweets and silly things and hit gym directly after work each week day.
At the start of August I weighed in at 105kgs (+- 231lbs) and this week I finally managed to break the 90kg (198lbs) barrier, effectively shaving off 15kgs (33lbs) in exactly 4 months.
I'm fitting into clothing that I haven't worn in over 5 years and it's quite cool having your mates all comment on how much better you look.
I'd like to hit below 85kgs (187lbs) if I can, but I'm making it a lifestyle rather than a short term goal. I'm taking my friend's advice on this: "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels."
Take good care and good luck with the weight loss.
