Thank you Body Media Fit!

I just finished a month of wearing my body media fit. I have been maintaining for about 7 months now, but I was curious to see if I could eat more. So let me tell you, wow I can eat tons more. On MFP I had my lifestyle set to sedentary because I have a sedentary job. I sit behind a desk all day. My maintainence calories were 1440 (I'm 5 ft and weigh 112) and of course when I exercised I earned more and ate them. Well after my one month experimentation, I discovered I burn (as in can eat) 1700 calories on days where I do absolute zero exercising and up to 2200 sometimes on days I do exercise. There were some days in there I burned 1800-1900 also on non exercise days, but 1700 was the lowest day. So my point is I was way undereating. Since eating my new calorie amount I have still maintained. Just goes to show how different every one's metabolisms are and devices like body media fit are worth it!

I love my Body Media Fit! It's given me a LOT of good information. It's proving especially helpful right now. I'm recovering from gallbladder surgery and can't exercise, so it helps me know how much I'm burning just from normal activity for the day. It also gave me a much clearer picture of my workout burn (I used the trip meter on the display and zeroed it at the beginning of my workout).0
