I am new to MFP and I was just wondering...is the calorie allowance calculated for you pretty accurate? Do you generally see success eating the allotted calories MFP gives you on a daily basis?

For the most part. I started out at 1200 calories and lost like crazy, but did stall after a while. I bumped them up to (I think) 1460, which is what I'm at now. Plus, I eat back every single exercise calorie.0 -
Yup. It works.0

As long as you dont over extend your bodies caloric requirements and acceptable deficits; meaning at 20 lbs to lose you cant expect to lose 2 lbs per week. It should be more like. 5-1 lb per week.0

Yep, it works. Just don't let your calories get too low, and eat back your exercise calories. At least some of them.0
