Feverish and Exhausted - Food Related?

Fell off the wagon for a bit, :grumble: and I've been feeling sluggish lately, and feverish around 3 or 4pm almost every day. :embarassed: I think I already know the answer to this, but............... could it be b/c I've been eating badly? Or some sort of hormone thing?...

Thoughts? :ohwell:

Oh, and please don't criticize my diary....:explode: I told you, I fell off the wagon, but I'm back on now.

I would say food related. Maybe too much sugar and high fat contents and they are making you drag. Try cutting out sugars for a couple days and see how it changes things for you. Make sure you are eating things that have more fiber and protein to help you as well. Your diet really does mess with your activity level for sure. I gave up fast food, pop, sugars, junk food and completed the first week last week (until Christmas) and I have never had so much energy. No mid day crash which kills me at work. Give it a try and see how your body responds.

Sounds like it could actually be Mono, eat better for a few days and if that doesn't do the trick then see your doctor for a blood workout (they can check for mono as well as your hormone levels etc at the same time). Exercising & wearing yourself out is the worse possible thing you can do if you have Mononucleosis. I had it in high school (quite typical), but my husband got it at 30, took me about a week to figure out, took the docs well over a month with waiting for test results etc. Wasn't their first thought because he didn't fit into the right demographic and he didn't have all the typical symptoms, but he was exhausted and got a fever every day around 5pm.

Bad eating does not cause a fever. I get checked out by a Doc.

Poor eating can cause sluggishness, but not a fever. See your doctor!
