My trick is 1/2 an apple, hand full of peanuts, laughing cow cheese. For my am and pm snack. It really works..0

I'm reading a book about sugar and it's affect on our cravings and mood and energy, etc. Sugar Busters or something? I have the book sitting on my dresser but I can't think of it's name right now. Found it at a second-hand store.
Anyhow, I know your struggle very well. Hang in there, you will find what you need to get through it!!0 -
try a tablespoon of peanut butter. Will hit the mark for both sweet and salty cravings, and is good for you given the calories. Savor it, make it last several minutes.... go to bed early, tomorrow will be better!0

I take a banana, peel it, wrap it in saran wrap and freeze it. Takes care of the sugar craving. Or.... one of those fat free chocolate pudding cups.0

When I have 'sugary' cravings, I grab something salty. For me it works. I usually down a pickle half or two, or a small handful of black olives and it dulls the craving to where I don't want anything sweet anymore.
It gets my mind off the craving and pickles are usually so sour (dill) that it makes me forget I want a cookie LOL0
