MFP or other fitness equipment stats?

MFP tends to report that I burned fewer calories than reports from my other fitness equipment (Nike+ chip, etc.). Often the difference can reach 90-100 calories. I have sometimes changed the duration of my MFP workout in order to report the same number of calories burned as my Nike+ chip, but I'm not sure which to believe! Anyone else have this problem? Do you just split the difference?
